CodeWrd Privacy Policy

In short: we collect what you give us, use it to reply and improve the site, never sell it, and let you turn analytics off anytime.
Who we are
CodeWrd, LLC ("CodeWrd," "we," "us") is a Missouri company that runs codewrd.ai. This policy explains what we collect when you visit the site, use the chat, subscribe, or contact us, and what we do with it.
It covers the website only. If you become a client, your engagement agreement and our client terms govern the data we handle for that work.
Information we collect
We collect only what you give us and what the site needs to run.

Please don't put sensitive information in the chat or forms, such as account numbers, health details or passwords. The chat is a general conversation tool, not a secure channel.
How we use it
- Reply to your questions and requests.
- Send the newsletter you asked for. Every issue has an unsubscribe link.
- Run the chat and keep it from being abused.
- Understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- Keep the site secure and meet legal obligations.
What we don't do: we don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don't save chat conversations on our servers, and we don't use what you type in the chat to train AI models.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits. It sets cookies that recognize a returning browser and records the activity listed above. Google signals and advertising features are turned off. You can turn analytics off anytime with the link in the footer; once you do, it stops and its cookies are removed. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as turning analytics off.
Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can also block it in any browser with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
The site also stores small items in your browser that it needs to work, such as your cookie choice. These are not used for tracking. Separately, our host counts page views in aggregate without cookies and without identifying you.
Service providers
We share information only with companies that help us run the site, and only what each one needs.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or merger of the business.
How long we keep it

Security
The site runs over HTTPS, and access to our accounts is limited and protected. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep sensitive details out of forms and the chat.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter with the link in any issue.
- Turn analytics on or off with the cookie settings link.
- Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing the address below. We'll answer within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, your state's law may give you more rights. We honor those requests too.
Children
The site is for business audiences. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on the site.
