In short: use the site and chat in good faith, treat chat answers as general information, and talk with us before you act on anything important.

Using this site

These terms apply to anyone who visits codewrd.ai or uses its chat, forms or newsletter. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

The site is run by CodeWrd, LLC, a Missouri company. Paid work with CodeWrd is governed by a separate signed agreement and our client terms. If those conflict with these terms, the signed agreement wins.

The AI chat

The chat on this site is powered by an AI model. It's there to answer general questions about CodeWrd and how AI can help a business.

• It isn't professional advice. Nothing in the chat is legal, tax, financial, accounting or other professional advice, and using it doesn't make you a CodeWrd client.
• It can be wrong. AI replies can be incomplete, out of date or incorrect. Check anything important before you act on it, and talk with us or a qualified professional.
• Keep it general. Don't share confidential, personal or sensitive information in the chat.
• Use it fairly. Don't use the chat to break the law, harass anyone, try to get around its safeguards or usage limits, pull out its instructions, or overload or attack the service. We may limit or block access to protect the service.

What you type in the chat is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Our content

The site's text, design, graphics, logos and articles belong to CodeWrd or its licensors. You may read and share links to them, and quote short passages with credit. Don't copy, republish or sell them, or use them to train AI models, without our written permission.

CodeWrd and the CodeWrd logo are our marks. Don't use them in a way that suggests we endorse you.

What you send us

When you send us a message, form or idea, you confirm you have the right to share it. We may use feedback to improve our work with no obligation to you. We treat your personal information as our Privacy Policy describes.

Links to other sites

The site may link to sites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

The site, the chat and all content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, CodeWrd and its owners, employees and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, data or business, arising from your use of the site or the chat. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to $100.

Some states don't allow certain limits, so some of these may not apply to you.

Indemnity

If you misuse the site or break these terms and a claim follows, you agree to cover CodeWrd's reasonable losses and legal costs from that claim.

Governing law

Missouri law governs these terms. Any dispute about the site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Jackson County, Missouri, the same venue as our client terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Using the site after a change means you accept it.
